On November 06, 2019 the Embassy of Ukraine in cooperation with the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in the Sultanate of Oman Hani Al Rajab held a diplomatic reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine in the city of Muscat.

The event was attended by Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Dr. Hamad Al-Aufi, as a guest of honour, high-level officials from the Ministries of Heritage and Culture and Civil Services, members of the State and the Consultation Councils, representatives of the MFA of the Sultanate of Oman, business circles, diplomatic corps and local Ukrainian community.

In her welcoming speech to the guests Director-General for the Middle East and Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Myroslava Shcherbatiuk drew special attention to the processes of state-building in Ukraine during its modern history, as well as the prospects for further development of Ukrainian-Omani relations.
