On November 12, 2019 a solemn diplomatic reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine was held in the city of Jeddah – an economic center of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – with the support of Honorary Consul of Ukraine Eng. Abdullah Al-Bassami.

The event was attended by representatives of the regional branch of the MFA of the KSA, Ukrainian and Saudi businessmen, media, diplomatic corps and local Ukrainian community.

In his speech, Ambassador of Ukraine to the KSA Vadym Vakhrushev emphasized the importance of the recent joint steps towards visa liberalization for the citizens of Ukraine and the KSA for further sustainable development of business and people-to-people ties.
