On 17 November 2021 Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko conducted separate meetings with the high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

The parties outlined the priority areas for the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia, in particular, held detailed discussions on the expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation in the agricultural sector by finding new effective interaction mechanisms.
