On April 5, 2026, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Anatolii Petrenko, held a meeting with the President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce, Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Kamel.

A wide range of issues related to Ukrainian-Saudi economic cooperation were discussed, in particular in the areas of trade, regulatory interaction, and the development of direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.

Special attention was paid to further intensifying the work of the Ukraine–Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council, including through organizing a visit of Saudi business representatives to Ukraine and enriching intergovernmental cooperation formats with a substantive business component.

The parties also reviewed the state of interregional cooperation between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia, including interest in establishing partnerships between Ukrainian regions and the provinces of the Kingdom.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Saudi Arabia continues its systematic efforts aimed at developing bilateral economic cooperation and creating favorable conditions for the activities of Ukrainian companies in the Saudi market.
