On 13 April 2026, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Anatolii Petrenko held a meeting with Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Albudaiwi.

The parties discussed practical steps to further strengthen the partnership between Ukraine and the GCC, as well as promising avenues for the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Special attention was paid to the implementation of the provisions of the Joint Action Plan (2025–2030) in line with the identified priority areas of cooperation.
