The fifth session of the Joint Ukrainian Saudi Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation was held in Riyadh on 5-6 April 2017. The session was co-chaired by the Minister of agricultural policy and food of Ukraine Mr. Taras Kutovyi and Minister of transport of Saudi Arabia Mr. Sulaiman Al-Hamdan.

The two sides signed minutes of the fifth session, identifying the mutual steps to prepare the conclusion of bilateral agreements. The two sides have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in fields of trade, agriculture, energy, investments, education and tourism.

The session of the joint commission witnessed significant capabilities for further development of Ukrainian-Saudi cooperation in the trade, economic, scientific and technical spheres.
