On 04 September 2022, H. E. Anatolii Petrenko, Ambassador of Ukraine, presented copies of Credentials to the Deputy Minister for Protocol Affairs, Ambassador Khalid bin Faisal Al-Sahli.  

After the solemn ceremony, the parties reviewed the current state of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia, discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda and outlined prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation between the countries. 

The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed appreciation to the leadership of Saudi Arabia for the humanitarian assistance provided to the temporarily displaced persons of Ukraine. 

Diplomats reconfirmed their determination to contribute to the deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia in all spheres of mutual interests.
