The Government of Ukraine has made a decision to terminate issuing visas on arrival at Ukrainian international airports from January 01, 2019.
This decision applies to all foreigners including Saudi and Omani nationals. Its purpose is to simplify visa procedures and remove the existing inconveniences for the guests of Ukraine.
At the same time, Saudi and Omani nationals keep the opportunity to obtain electronic visas (e-visas) online through the website http://evisa.mfa.gov.ua. Moreover, instead of visas on arrival, the Ukrainian Government significantly expands the list of grounds for e-visa issuance.
Starting from 01/01/2019, citizens of Kingdom Saudi Arabia and Sultanate Oman will be able to apply for e-visa in the following cases:
- tourist trip;
- business trip;
- visiting relatives/friends;
- participation in sport, cultural, scientific and educational events;
- mass-media representatives.
E-visa is issued as single-entry for 30 days, its cost is 85 USD.
Besides, Saudi and Omani nationals are also eligible for obtaining double-entry or multiple entry visas for a period from 6 months to 2 years at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the authorized Ukrainian Visa Centers in Riyadh and Jeddah (VFS Global Co., locations: Al Hada District Riyadh 64819, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; tel.: 920002114; TasHeel Commercial Center, Ground Floor, Suwaid Bin Sakher Street, Off Jundub Bin Kaab Street (Off Prince Sultan Street),Al Mohammadiya District 1, Jeddah).
